Biography

Martha is newly relocated to KU from Arizona State University after seventeen years there as an instructional designer. At ASU she began on the enterprise-wide training team to help implement PeopleSoft, developing and delivering on-line and face-to-face training to faculty and staff. From that team in the University Technology Office she moved into academia working with the Institute for Teaching and Learning in the Office of Knowledge Management, the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law, and finally Thunderbird School of Global Management.  As a faculty associate she also taught for Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.

Prior to ASU Martha managed curriculum development for an online graphic design school, and has corporate experience working with Simon and Schuster among others.

A special area of interest in education has been Experiential Theory and Methodology.

A previous background in fine art and printmaking was inspired by summers spent at Design Camp at KU prior to college.

She is an animal lover with two smallish dogs, Sasha and Chauncey.
