Josh Gaston

Josh joined the Center for Online and Distance Learning (CODL) as an Instructional Designer after having taught English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for more than a decade in the United States, Australia, China, Chile, South Korea, Japan, and Uzbekistan. While contracted with the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan, Josh instructed university students, trained teachers, developed curricula, and designed courses. Josh received his BA in English Literature from Drake University and his MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Kansas. In his free time, Josh enjoys traveling, writing, reading, listening to music, playing guitar, exercising, and trying to improve his disc golfing skills.
